Nate earned his B.S. from UC Santa Barbara in Chemical Engineering, his M.S. from UC Irvine in Biochemical Engineering, and his PhD from UC Riverside in Bioengineering.

Nate has been involved in multidisciplinary projects during and beyond graduate school. These range from combining bio-nanotechnology strategies to exotic engineered viruses, contributing to cancer research, and using DNA for computer digital encoding technologies. He has produced numerous high impact journal articles, magazines, review articles, and patents while gaining awards and worldwide accolades during his bioengineering doctorate in 2007.

Nate's interests include movies, reading, training, tennis, swimming, web, and biotech.

With 6 years of experience in design, Damian is responsible for branding, interface design, and everything creative. He also works closely with the marketing team to come up with innovative campaigns in the social sphere. Damian graduated from the Art Institute of Toronto with a degree in Graphic Design. He's done print design work to develop brands and campaigns for various startups, has agency experience pitching design ideas to Fortune 500 clients, and runs his own startup design studio.

No matter where he goes or what he's doing, Damian's keen eye is always absorbing design elements around him. He describes style as "clean and simple" and allows life experience to influence his design work. He likes to keep abreast of all things in the world of technology. When he releases himself from his work, Damian enjoys a good movie, video games, and eating lots of spicy food.

Health is truly captured by the ability to personalize your specific health needs. The more in depth I can get with the exact way my body performs, is the sole key to maximizing my training potential, and health. Maximizing my own true potential and not somebody else’s potential is what will make me a healthier individual. Working with many unique individuals as a fitness coach, I have been able to see firsthand how every individual’s health is significantly different than the next. With this being said, I have been intrigued to be a part of a company like Portnology Inc. that facilitates the personalization of my health.
